Hi, I’m running into an issue with the Find Target operator in tyFlow.
When I set Control by Time (e.g. 20 or 40 frames), I expect the particle to interpolate smoothly towards its target across that time span. However, in my setup the particle does not move gradually—instead it stays still and then suddenly “snaps” to the target position on the specified frame.
Here are my key settings:
Could this be related to the “Treat post-step particles as new” option or operator order in the event?
Any insights or a minimal working setup that shows Control by Time working as intended would be very helpful. Thanks!

Here are my key settings:
- Set Target: Mode = By Proximity, Timing = Continuous
- Find Target:
- Control = Control by Time
- Frames = 40
- Ease In = 0%
- Timing = Continuous
- Treat post-step particles as new = ON (default)
- Control = Control by Time
- No additional Force operators, just Spawn (By Travel) → Set Target → Find Target
- Turning Ease In ON/OFF (doesn’t fix it)
- Using different distance thresholds
- Switching Timing between On Event Entry / Continuous
- Different substeps
