animated flower, how to use on a plant?
#1
ive made good progress using tyflow to animate a flower blooming using cloth and various forces.   the end result actually uses the morpher modifier to morph through multiple targets created from the simulation.   this is much lighter and allows me to do the necessary reversal of the simulated movement (the flower was simulated closing, easier than simulating it opening!)

i now need to use the flower i have created in another flow with plant growth, with flowers blooming in the correct places and orientations, with the correct timings as the plant grows.

ideally id also have the flowers affected by wind/gravity which suggests adding further cloth effects on top of the animation they currently have..

can anyone point me to a suitable workflow?    tyactor?    seems like it might work but ive no idea how to apply it in this case, and how to add secondary animation to the flower whilst still respecting the original form and movement.

here is the current flower:

hi, yes i saw that tutorial.   nice but not exactly what i am looking for.   he is doing a single flower on a stem.   i wish to use a flower i have already animated as the source for a procedural plant, adding cloth/gravity/dynamics effects on top of the already baked animation on the flower. there would be multiple flowers on a single plant.

Perhaps Object Bind (Surface) with Dynamic or Linear Springs? So you'd have your first animated mesh and a second cloth simulation you bind to it.
