Hi, I will try to transform an object into sand. I not sure even how to start.
From now i'm trying to use an animated box to activate the transformation but i do not know how to do it.
I'm start with a birth objets.

I think it's better to use the birth voxels for sand, then birth object, that you need to fracture.

Check out this Allan tut.
It's pretty old, but it will get you on the right track I think.

There is also sand example in the official TyFlow scenes, if I remember correctly.

Hi, thanks for the answer. Buth with birth voxel i do not have the initial shape, it start directly with grains.
I attach you what i've done. Is not perfect but the effect that i want is similar.

That's pretty cool. Smile

Maybe add some wind turbulence to brake the pattern a bit.

Thanks man.
I will try.
The only problem is that the mesh is not full like if it is voronoi fracture. Imposssible to notice frome the POV but i' ll prefer to have it full.ù
Voronoi fracture is to heavy i found. Any Idea for keeping the mesh not empty?.

Thanks

If your flow is the same as the one you attached, it's because of the "face fracture" operator.
Once you fractured them to faces, you lost their volume.
You can either delete face fracture, and instead create voronoi, or you can add shell operator after the face fracture, so they have volume.
