tycache, dynamic culling
#1
hi tyson

i have a single tycache of points only, I'm using them with Phoenix Particle shader.
Now, I want to use a culling object dynamically
Basically , load the cached frame check culling object position , cull particles for that frame
then rinse and repeat every frame, but not "add to the cull" if that makes sense

Currently it seems it only loads the cache then culls at frame where u turn the cull on from, and stays like that.

what am i missing?

So it deletes particles permanently?

If that's the case, maybe better option for you would be to load your tycache in Tyflow via birth flow and flow update operators, then do a surface test (by distance, or volume) and move them to second event.
Now in that second event you will also need flow update operator, so they keep moving, and in second event do another surface test when they are exiting and move them to third event (again, you will need flow update)
So now you have 3 events. You want Phoenix particle shader to render only 1 and 3 event (not 2).

Since you need to turn on "enable particle interface" in order to load TyFlow in Phoenix particle shader, you can (for example) select that A channel to be visible.
Go back to particles and add particle groups in each event. In event 1 and 3 make particle group A, in event 2, make them B.

Now Phoenix should read only event 1 and 3.
