terrain color resets palette
#1
i'm testing the terrain color node and i did notice that i can animate the colors in the Color Layer List
for instance i can make on layer that goes from black to white and use it as animated mask to filter other nodes

the issue is that when i reopen the scene after saving and closin max the animation is preserved but the color is shifted to the default brown color that you see when you bring the node into the event the first time, so i have to go into the trackeditor and correct the values of the keys, this happens everitime i open the scene

if i don't use animated colors and i assign a specific color to the layer all works fine and all is preserved well at the reopening of the scene

here is a simple example, as you can see when you open the scene and go to terrain color in the Color Layer List you have the default clay color
if you open the track editor you'll see the animated keys, the original animation was from black to white

everytime i open the scene i have to manally set back the first key to all black and the last to all white

here you have the file

I assume this is the same problem I noticed in my scene ?
I animate the colors in the Inferno Color operator, and every time I reopen the scene, the colors are no longer correct.

Yes - this actually turned out to be a tyFlow-wide issue, where RGBA parameter block values were not being loaded correctly if keyframes were assigned to them. This is fixed in the next build, and the fix affects any operator with a color picker that is animated.
