Fireworks Velocity strange behavior
#1
Hi There,

while walking through some Tut´s about Tyflow (this one with the Firework (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ip0lb50A39U)
I found, that in my Scene when I am at timepoint 28:38 in the Video, my particles after lowering the Velocity / Inherited % Value they behave mostly still as straight lines instead of getting a balistic flying style, except just 2 Particles, wich show this desired effect - and that also only in quiet incorrect way.

Buildversion of Tyflow used by the Guy´s Tutorial there is couple of month older. I am using the lates here.

The Effect appears only from frame 465 on. I am almost sure, I did same things like the Tut was showing up (hopefully.... =)
So I dont know where the Problem is. Maybe I missed something, or somewhat else.

Scene attached

best regards & thanks in advance

When I open your scene file and play it through, I don't see anything that resembles the screenshot you posted. Are you sure you posted the right file?

Well - indeed...
First, I was playing around with this scene on my Laptop (with i7 Processor and a Quadro K2000. For some exercising purpose thought might be good enough)
So maybe thats a missing nVidia Physics thing, thats missing an that kind of chip.

I encountered on my Workstation now, that I probably see what you see - so the red trails are not visible anymore - wich had been displayed wrong on my Laptop. But also non of the Ballistic motion. I go through the Tutorial again and see what happens. So the Case, that the trails are not moving nicly in a ballistic curve, might be still a problem on my side.

EDIT: at least I can say, that it was hardwares fault. I loaded some testscenes from you inside and haven´t encountered any displayproblems ( ok it was sloooow)
Dontknow, why it was differing so much between diffenrent Machines

I already now found, that after going through this tutorial and doing some fixes, that I think, they are necessary, I found adjusting tyFlows parameter are very good to use and the range of the Parameters are well balanced (e.g. Pflow, where sometimes you need very high values and sometimes strangely low ones... thumbs up here - haven't seen much now from Tyflow, but it really motivates me to do more in this direction! Cool Job man.
