As for UDIMs...I have a cursory undersanding of them but have never used them myself. Isn't it something that's typically setup after terrain is generated/exported? You can use the Terrain Tile operator to subdivide a single tile into more tiles (example, a single 8k tile into 5x5 8k tiles), and then export all those individual tiles to various texmaps after you apply whatever FX/colors you want to them. Then UDIMs would be used to load those maps onto a single mesh afterwards, no? I guess I could add settings in the Terrain Mesh operator to prep meshes with UDIM-compatible UVWs. Any other features you'd like to see added in that area?
Great, Thanks, it was helpful totally and gives my requirements.
Thank you, Tyson
Sorry, I am asking that it is because of a lack of my knowledge.
How can we make as an example a mountain, then stick that area with regular lands continuously?
I mean need a mountain to make with terrain, then all other 8 sides/corners attacا terrain lands differently but are attached and smooth and seamless to expand the area land.
I think Tile in this case also is the solution, but I am so noob here
Sorry, I am asking a lot.
I used tile when I do export the maps, just exporting 4 files without any extension or data.
IDK if is it a bug or if it is my wrong workflow, I attached images step by step.
